Medical 101 & 102

Are you nearing 65 or have family members that you are trying to help with their retirement plans? You’ve come to the right place. Idaho Department of Insurance SHIBA will explain Medicare and all its parts, answer questions, and de-mystify this healthcare program for you.
We are trying something new with our Medicare workshop. We want to reach you where you are in the process so instead of one really long workshop, we are offering TWO – 1 hour workshops. This will allow you time to process the information and then come back with more questions. We think you will really like it.
Medicare 101: Medicare Basics, March 24th from 6:00 – 7:00 pm
Learn about the 4 parts of Medicare and the 2 different ways they can be put together for coverage.
This course offers a basic overview of Medicare, for people wanting to learn for their own benefit or helping others.
The processes and timelines for enrolling in or changing Medicare is covered in Medicare 201.

A basic understanding of the parts of Medicare and options for coverage are needed for this course (these are covered in Medicare 101).
