Teaching Native Youth How To Save and Budget for the Future

April 29, 2021 @ 11:00 am - 5:00 pm PDT

Throughout history, Native Americans have been known for their ability to manage resources. Learning, understanding and practicing resource management skills are just as important to our well-being today as they have been throughout our history. In this engaging webinar you will learn how to help the youth in your community identify money as a tool to become economically self-sustaining. You will learn how to help them create a spending plan that will empower them to use money wisely. Finally, you will learn how to integrate these principles with the concept of generating income through entrepreneurship. This online workshop is free and open to anyone working with youth.

Taught by Camille Koster (Cherokee). For more information contact Camille: [email protected]. This workshop is being funded in part by the USDA Rural Development, the Small Business Administration and the California Governor’s Office of Business and Economic Development.
