Leilani joined the firm in 2012, as a Senior Consultant to create a new division dedicated to providing investment advisory services to the Native American community. She continues to lead the organization in client services and operations, through her role as Managing Partner & Chief Compliance Officer. Leilani has over 20 years of investment industry experience.

Bachelor of Science in Financial Counseling & Planning from Purdue University

Bachelor of Administration in Business Management from the University of Alaska, Southeast

PRIOR PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE

Prior to Breakwater, Leilani worked with Denali Advisors, Acclaro Advisors and Merrill Lynch. In addition, Leilani has over 5 years of experience working for Alaska Native Corporations.

TRIBAL AFFILIATION

Leilani is an enrolled member of the Central Council of Tlingit & Haida Indian Tribes of Alaska, and is a shareholder of two Alaska Native Corporations – Sealaska Corporation and Goldbelt, Inc. She is also a member of the Champagne and Aishihik First Nations in Canada.
