Celilo Miles “Go deep or go home”

I am a senior at the University of Idaho, majoring in communication and minoring in environmental communication. I also work as a wildland firefighter for the Nez Perce Tribe’s engine crew. When opportunities arise for modeling, I rise to the occasion and slip on a pair of heels. My current passion projects are focused on freelancing and educating aspiring models to help them navigate the modeling industry. My accomplishments consist of living and working in NYC as a model. Despite not achieving all my goals for my modeling career, I am thankful I pursued my dreams. The learning opportunities, personal growth, and friendships were more beneficial to my life when compared to a paycheck. The life skills acquired during my time in NYC are what I feel most accomplished about. My goals for the future consist of continuing my education after I graduate with a B.S. in communication. I will also continue to gain more experience in fire to eventually become an engine boss and take on more responsibility. My goals may be personal, but I always want to remain connected to my tribal community.
