Darren Williams

Darren Williams serves as a Senior Staff Attorney/Policy Analyst for the Nez Perce Tribe Office of Legal Counsel. Darren advises the Nez Perce Tribe on legislative and policy matters and coordinates the Tribe’s interaction with the U.S. Congress, Idaho, Oregon and Washington state legislatures, and state and federal agencies.  Darren is an enrolled citizen of the Cherokee Nation moved from Oklahoma with his family to begin his work for the Nez Perce Tribe in 2005.  Darren graduated from the University Oklahoma School of Law and worked for the Oklahoma Securities Commission and for the Oklahoma House of Representatives prior to joining the Nez Perce Tribe.
