RISE Wellness is a wellness organization founded by Sequoia Dance, a mother, wellness advocate, and All But Dissertation (ABD) PhD candidate in Cultural Studies and Social Thought in Education at Washington State University. Sequoia is a member of the Shoshone-Bannock Tribes and lives on the homelands of the Nimiipuu people (Nez Perce) in Idaho. Her approach emphasizes balance and alignment with the true self, intentionally distancing from mainstream wellness trends.
