9th Annual HIPT Food Summit: Reflecting on the Past, Co-creating Our Future

The HIPT Food Summit is a Tribal-led, community-centered gathering that brings together elders, youth, cultural practitioners, educators, and partners to share knowledge and strengthen food sovereignty efforts across Native homelands. The summit centers intergenerational learning, cultural teachings, and community priorities rooted in place. The 2026 summit will include:

• Adult Track focused on food systems, community initiatives, and collaboration
• Youth Track designed to engage young people through culturally grounded learning and leadership development
• Mini Weaving Conference highlighting traditional knowledge, instruction, and artistry led by cultural practitioners
