What is the Airbnb Entrepreneurship Academy?
The Academy gives tourism entrepreneurs skills, practical tools and support to become Hosts on Airbnb and earn extra money. The program includes introductory information on the Airbnb platform, hosting best practices, and how to get started.
What are open office hours?
Open Office Hours are a live Q&A with Airbnb Superhost Ambassadors to get one-off questions answered on the spot. Often, participants will benefit from hearing other people’s questions answered, as it may be something they have not thought of yet.
Should I register?
Do you want to become a Host on Airbnb and earn extra money sharing your space or expertise? Registration is open to individuals in the US who have started their hosting journey and have questions. Our friendly Superhost Ambassador Katelyn is here to help you!
Meet your Superhost Ambassador, Katelyn
My mission has always been to connect people through creative spaces. I had the opportunity to interact with and entertain over 1,000 guests from all over the world at the 10 rental properties I designed and managed. I then worked as a Host Advisor for the Airbnb Plus program, assisting Superhosts through the onboarding process.
Most of my energy today is focused on helping new hosts succeed, by providing resources and connections, one-on-one consultations & webinars.
My educational background is in Communications and Sociology and, prior to my Airbnb life, I was a Brand Strategist for a social marketing agency. I’ve also dabbled in Tour Management and large scale event production.
