Meet Your Instructor

Jiselle “Jazz” Halfmoon (she/her) is an enrolled Cayuse/Umatilla citizen of the Confederated Tribes of the Umatilla Indian Reservation, with Nimiipuu ancestry on both her paternal and maternal sides. She serves as Digital Marketing Creative Lead at Cayuse Native Solutions, where she directs digital campaigns, social media strategy, web development, branding, and graphic design for clients across Indian Country.

Prior to joining CNS in 2022, Jiselle spent 13 years in CTUIR’s Communications Department, managing the Tribal radio station and later serving as Interim Director of Communications. Her work earned two national journalism awards. She is Google-certified in digital marketing and certified in Tribal web development through the University of Arizona.

A writer, artist, and entrepreneur (Indigital), Jiselle has contributed to projects including the Bestiarium International print exhibition in Athens, Greece, the Ghost Herd podcast, and cultural commentary in Pacific Northwest public radio. She currently serves her third term on the CTUIR Law & Order Committee.

Outside of work, she enjoys creating digital pop tribal culture designs, reading and writing, photography, learning weyiiletpuutimpt, exploring tribal homelands, traveling with her mini-Aussie Hutch, and spending time with friends.
