Nimiipuu Fund recently convened partners from across the Nez Perce Reservation for a focused Housing Ecosystem Planning Session, bringing together organizations and leaders committed to strengthening housing in our community.

This gathering created a collaborative space for tribal programs, housing leaders, and community partners to align around a shared goal: building a more coordinated and effective housing system that reflects the needs of the community.

Grounded in the findings from the 2024 Housing Needs Assessment, participants worked together to map existing housing resources, identify critical gaps, and begin shaping actionable strategies to move housing efforts forward.

A key outcome of the session was the formation of the Nimiipuu Housing Collective—a collaborative network of partners dedicated to advancing housing solutions through coordination, shared resources, and long-term planning.

“Housing challenges are complex, but when we bring the right people together with shared purpose, we begin to see real pathways forward.”

“Housing is everyone’s responsibility.” – Taricia Moliga, NPTHA Board Chair

These shared reflections highlight a collective commitment to advancing housing solutions through partnership and accountability.

The Nimiipuu Fund extends sincere appreciation to all who participated and contributed their time, insight, and leadership. Special thanks to Points Consulting, the Nez Perce Tribal Housing Authority for co-hosting, and Seven Sisters Community Development Group for facilitating the session.

Looking Ahead

The work continues through the Nimiipuu Housing Collective, which will convene regularly as partners move from planning to implementation.

Community partners, funders, and housing practitioners interested in participating in future meetings are encouraged to connect with the Nimiipuu Fund to learn more and get involved.

Together, we are building a stronger, more connected housing system—one that supports long-term stability, opportunity, and self-determination for the Nez Perce community.
