On July 21-22, 2025 Nimiipuu Community Development Fund (Nimiipuu Fund) Board of Directors and key staff recently came together at the Coeur d’Alene Casino’s Stensgar Pavilion — nestled next to the breathtaking Circling Raven Golf Course — to review the organization’s current strategic direction and shape its goals for the future. The gathering resulted in the development of a bold and forward-looking 2025–2028 Strategic Plan and Sustainability Plan, designed to steward capital wisely while remaining rooted in the Fund’s Mission and Vision.

The retreat, facilitated by Lisa Wagner of Bluestem Consulting and Caleb Selby of Selby Consulting, provided a space for thoughtful reflection, honest conversation, and collective planning. With a focus on strengthening services, increasing impact, and adapting to a changing economic landscape, Nimiipuu Fund reaffirmed its commitment to building Native prosperity and economic sovereignty.
