The member will build the capacity of the NCDF and communities on the Nez Perce reservation by helping to provide needed capacity and services that otherwise would not be filled. Thanks to generous funding from Lowe’s, small business owners in rural communities are invited to apply to the next round of the Rural Relief Small Business Grants program. Before you apply, please note:  Only businesses located in rural communities are eligible to receive a Rural Relief Small Business Grant. Review eligibility information here.  This program is separate from previous small business grant applications from LISC. You must submit a new application each round to be considered for a Rural Relief Small Business Grant. Northwest Area Foundation Grants Awarded to Nimiipuu Fund

During the second quarter of 2020, the Northwest Area Foundation approved 113 grants worth $5,184,631—including $665,000 in COVID-19 emergency grants to 25 of our grantees and $510,000 in COVID-19 emergency grants toward pooled relief funds at 13 organizations. This quarter’s grant funding touches on work being done in each of their four interlocking portfolios, as well as work related to general projects that are not designated to a specific portfolio. Within each of these areas, they awarded COVID-19 emergency grants to provide essential support to many existing grantees and strengthen financial efforts by foundations providing critical emergency assistance to community-based nonprofits helping underserved communities in our region. LC Valley Small Business Recovery Fund

The LC Valley Small Business Recovery Fund provides microgrants to small businesses with zero to five employees (including owners) in Nez Perce and Asotin Counties who did not qualify for, would not benefit from, or missed the opportunity to receive Economic Injury Disaster Loans (EIDL), Paycheck Protection Program Funding (PPP), the Idaho Rebound Grant, or other state funding. Gov. Little announces criteria, timelines for small businesses to apply for Idaho Rebound cash grants

Boise, Idaho – Governor Brad Little announced today the full eligibility criteria and process for small businesses to apply for an Idaho Rebound cash grant. Governor Little announced last week that $300 million in cash grants will be made available to Idaho small businesses impacted by COVID-19. No other state in the country is putting up more money in direct cash support for small businesses. Cash grants of up to $10,000 will be directly deposited into the bank accounts for eligible businesses. More than 30,000 businesses could benefit. The Governor’s Coronavirus Financial Advisory Committee finalized the eligibility criteria and related details.
