Tax Savings Strategies for Small Businesses

February 8 @ 1:00 pm - 2:00 pm PST

This workshop focuses on Federal tax-saving strategies that work best for small businesses. It covers topics such as electing S-Corporation status with the IRS, maximizing the deduction for business use of the home, demonstrating two ways to compute the deduction for the business use of a personal vehicle, providing examples of seven different retirement plans, and helping you determine which one is best for you. Additionally, the workshop describes how to maximize the benefits of health savings accounts, highlights the difference between smart and not-so-smart equipment purchases for maximizing tax benefits, and explains the distinction between cash and accrual accounting to help you choose the better option for your business. There’s much more covered in the workshop, offering valuable insights for small business tax planning.
